Working in a team environment to sell, the Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for achieving sales revenue goals for an assigned territory by developing and strengthening long-term relationships with customers and partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop an overall territory sales plan to maximize opportunities and generates sales activity with customers and partners
  • Achieve/exceed monthly sales targets and gross profit quota by identifying, prospecting and qualifying new customers
  • Grow and maintain existing customer and partner relationships in territory
  • Develop marketing related events, seminars, mailings and call campaigns to increase brand awareness and presence in the local market

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree preferred
  • 3-7 years professional sales experience in high-tech or service-related industry preferred
  • Proven sales track record of consistently exceeding objectives and quotas
  • Ability to build relationships and quickly develop trust with C-level executives
  • Strong sales presentation, communication, organization, multitasking, and time management skills

Compensation:
