Our client is a worldwide distributor and exporter of military aviation components. This company is in aerospace procurement and services in support of armed forces and heavy commercial aircraft internationally and the supply of spare parts for military armored vehicles. As the Purchasing Specialist, you will provide administrative support including liaison between vendors and clients, light reception and bookkeeping in a small, quiet local office. In addition, you will have the opportunity to be hands on with the actual products. The winning candidate will intake part shipments, ensure order accuracy and prepare for export around the globe!

Primary Duties/Essential Functions:

  • Provide primary clerical support to the General Manager
  • Call and source a wide variety of parts from 100’s of suppliers
  • Light bookkeeping and office management duties
  • Manage and follow through of requests for quotes through fulfillment
  • Shipment verification and preparation for resell

Qualifications:          

  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office
  • Comfortable on the phone with suppliers all over the US
  • Procurement experience a big plus
  • Aerospace experience a huge plus
  • Bachelor’s degree a plus
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Dedicated and willing to go the extra mile to project completion
  • Able to communicate effectively and professionally
  • Must be comfortable with a Lynnwood commute
  • Must be a nonsmoker and able to pass a background check
